   hand mudras for health
what are hand mudras
Mudras are a set of subtle physical movements that can change one's mood, attitude, or perspective.  That can help to increase concentration and alertness.
A mudra can be a simple hand position or it can encompass the entire body in a combination of Asana, Pranayama, Bandha, and other visualisation methods.
To stimulate the flow of prana (life force or energy) throughout the body and quiet the mind by focusing it on the simple touch of our hands or fingers and to intensify the power of our practice and visualisation.
WHAT ABOUT SCIENCE ?
Recent studies are opening our eyes to how hand mudras, an important part of yoga, affect our brain and mental health. These studies show that the way we place our fingers in mudras can stimulate certain parts of the brain.

WELL HOW ABOUT THAT!

HOW DO YOU USE THEM OR ACTIVATE THEM YOU MAY WELL BE ASKING BY NOW RIGHT ?
OR WHAT MAKES THEM SO POWERFUL ?
BECAUSE Mudras are 'gestures' or 'symbols' intended to direct awareness and subtle energy, and create changes on a physical and esoteric level. Primarily based in Ayurveda – often known as the 'sister science' of yoga – these mudras are intended to balance and harmonise, to unblock and unleash important and powerful effects.
How long do you hold mudras?
It should at least be held for 2 minutes or as long as possible. Ideally, if yoga mudras are practiced for 45 minutes in a 24 - hour period including morning, afternoon and evening, it brings about peace, harmony and helps bring in balance .
